Clarence Roby

Mr. Clarence Roby passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Covenant Healthcare-Harrison. Age 61 years. He was born October 19, 1951 in Brooksville, Mississippi to Woodrow and Geraldine Roby.
Clarence was a 1971 graduate of OFallon Technical High School in St. Louis, Missouri. He continued his education at Delta College where he received his Associate's Degree in 1980 and Michigan State University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in 1982. He was an inspector for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit. His job was to insure that those who were physically challenged were treated fairly. Clarence enjoyed music, cooking and casino trips. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory four daughters, Lovie Harris, Tonia (Lonnie) Roby, Valerie Roby, Debra Ann Hinkle; one son, Lamont (Denise) Hinkle; grandchildren, Jessica Jackson, Montrice (Jasmine) Jackson, Montrell Jackson, Marzellius Roby, LaTonia Jackson, Russell Harris Jr., Darnell Harris, Tiara Roby, Alexia Roby; six great-grandchildren, Delon Horton, Deonna Powell, Deonte Powell Jr., Dequarion Smart, Serenity Jackson, Amere Roby; his father, Woodrow Roby; four sisters, Geraldine Clerk, Claritha Johnson, Katherine Roby, Diane Cameron; five brothers, Calvin Davis, Maxie, Howard, Floyd and Kenneth Roby; many other relatives and friends including Allen Boone, Bobby Hall, the Dallas Hill Gang and a very special friend, Virdia Wallace.
Clarence was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Roby; two brothers, Larry and Clint Roby.
