Clarice Elaine Griffin

Clarice Elaine Griffin was born August 5, 1959, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Willean Wilkerson, and Dewitt Griffin.

Elaine was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, and a graduate of Saginaw High School, Class of ’77. She worked at Meijer in the deli and at a couple group homes. Elaine enjoyed singing, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her granddaughters. She was funny, passionate, and loved to decorate and entertain.

Elaine leaves to cherish her memory, son, Frederick Lee (Leslie) Lewis; grandchildren, Taylor Lewis, Detroit, Michigan, Trinity Lewis, Saginaw, Michigan, special step-grandchildren, Niko Colon, Anthony Williams, Austin Williams, Aaliyah Williams, all of Saginaw, Michigan; siblings, Duronnia (Walter) Bentley, Riverside, California, Yolanda (Roy) Adkins, Juanita (Kenny) Augustine, Jerrie (Hubert) Hokins, Willean (Gary) Campbell, and Crystal Wilkerson, all of Saginaw, Michigan; many nieces and nephews including special nieces, Chanciara and Shanntazjah Hokins; uncle, Leon Davis, many cousins, and special friend, Barbra Lewis.

Clarice was preceded in death by her parents, Willean (Jerry) Wilkerson, significant other, Edward Brown, Sr.; brother, Anthony Wilkerson, and sister, Jeriline Wilkerson.

The family would like to express special thanks to Chanciara and Shanntazjah Hokins, Heartland Hospice Staff, and Paradise Funeral Chapel.

A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
