Clemmie Stone (Lansing)

Clemmie Tean Stone passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 69 years. She was born May 6, 1954, in Sumpter, Alabama. The daughter of John & Annie Covington.

In 1975, Clemmie moved from Sumpter, Alabama to Lansing, Michigan. She was affiliated with Zion Hill Baptist Church and Solid Rock FGB Church. In addition to attending church, Clemmie also loved to cook, sing, dress, and entertain. She was a loving and caring person and was willing to help anybody in need.

She leaves to cherish her memory husband, Herman Stone of Lansing, Michigan; children, Angelia R. Anthony, William Anthony, and Andrel (Vicki) Anthony; 22 grandchildren; 1 niece; 1 nephew; aunt, Barnette Bush; uncles, Frank (Mona) Bush, Thomas Bush, and Ben Bush.

She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Covington; parents, John & Annie Covington; grandparents, Frank & Annie Mae Bush; and brother, Wallace Bush.
