Mr. Clifford Allen Jr. affectionately known as “June” passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. He was born September 23, 1956, to the late Clifford Allen Sr. and Martric Harris.
Cliff was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan, where he attended Saginaw Public Schools (Jones Elementary, Central Middle, and Saginaw High School). Clifford married Kimberly Ann Robinson on August 2, 1988, and later divorced in 1996.
In 2017, June started to study the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. He mentioned how interesting and enjoyable Gentry Parks made his studies. Due to his ongoing medical illness, Cliff did not reach his goal of becoming a baptized Witness of Jehovah God.
Cliff learned to do drywalling from an apprenticeship, and he was a skilled painter. He was exceptionally good at his job and took pride in his work. Cliff was very devoted to his children and grandchildren. He was kind to all.
Cliff leaves to cherish his memory his children, Samika Dottery, Shatara Robinson, Karl and Brandon Kincey, De’shay Robinson, and Crystal Forte; grandchildren, Toiyanna and Toriano Dottery, Karl Tyrone Thomas, Amariana A. Cliff was preceded in death by his son Clifford Allen III, parents, Clifford Allen Sr. and Martric Harris; sister, Earline Allen, three nephews, Steve Allen, Arthur Black, and Bryant Bentley.
Cliff died knowing that he has the hope of the Resurrection in harmony with what’s stated in the Bible of Acts 24:15 which states “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”
Cliff was cremated on March 30, 2024.
The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Gowda at Janes Street Heath Center; the Staff at St. Mary’s Ambulatory Care Short Stay; Ivan Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel, and many others who contributed to Clifford’s healthcare.
