Mr. Clifton Smith passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 75 years. He was born April 16, 1947, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Elliott Williams and Martha Hardy.
Clifton, a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, received a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan. He was a formerly employed as an accountant for Garb-Ko, Inc. Clifton enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a big fan of the Detroit Lions, and enjoyed watching NFL games. Earlier in life, Clifton was known for being a sharp dresser and he was always in the latest fashions. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish loving memories his wife, June Schrank; one daughter, Evelyn Jones; one son, Jacob Schrank; grandchildren, La’Miena Burns, Dante Smith, and Larry Sparks, all of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Charmayne Kelly, Fort Worth, Texas; great-grandchildren, Khartoum Burns, Ahmega Burns, and Ava Fields; stepfather, Jesse Hardy; six sisters, Gail Palmer, Mary Hardy, Vivian Davis, Vickie, Marsha, and Stacey Williams; five brothers, Elliott Williams Jr, Steven Murphy, Kevin, Dwayne, and Steven Williams; four nieces Brittnay Hardy, Elaine Hunt, Louise Palmer-Crisp, and Tina Pollard; six nephews, Quentin Smith, Damiano Hardy, Montae Smith, Gregory and James Willis, and Lewis Palmer Jr.
Clifton was preceded in death by one son, Anthony Smith; parents, Martha Hardy and Elliott Williams; brothers, Steve Smith, John and Glen Williams, and sister, Kathy Williams.
