Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Clois D. Bell Charles passed away suddenly on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the age of 55 years. He was born July 24, 1958 in Saginaw, Michigan to Calvin and Velma S. Bell.
Clois was a member of Truevine Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Paul E. Broaddus. Clois joined Kristina Kleppert in holy matrimony in 1997. She survives him and from this union nine children were united as one. He attended Buena Vista Schools and Delta College where he obtained his Building and Codes Certification in 2012. Clois was formerly employed by Saginaw Public Schools, Meijer stores and most recently, Resource Recovery Recycling Plant. He was a dedicated, hardworking husband and father who enjoyed watching sports and coaching girl basketball. Clois loved spending time with his family and he was especially fond of his beloved dogs, Shabama and Debo. His presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of sixteen years, Kristina Bell; five daughters, AKeshia, Sharice, Olivia and Alondra Bell, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Cleopatra Kleppert of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan; four sons, Clois A. and Donovan D. Bell, Cody and Kyle Kleppert, all of Saginaw, Michigan; seven grandchildren, TrayViaon and TayVien Satchell, Samuel Richardson Jr., ShaNiya Browning, Heaven and Clois A. Bell, Xavier Brookins; mother-in-law, Scheryl Kleppert; two sisters-in-law, Kelly (Steve) Drake, Katie (Leward) Hall; two nephews, Nicholas and Andrew Drake; one niece, Liliana Hall; one uncle, Clois (Idella) Smith; three aunts, Thelma Nichols, Leodia Powell and Dr. Jean O. Smith; many other relatives and friends including a lifelong friend, Robert Hernandez and special cousin, Ricky Seals.
Clois was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Velma Bell, grandparents, Johnnie and Beatrice Smith, father-in-law, Kenneth Kleppert, two uncles, one aunt and many cousins.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Pastor Delwin Tatum, the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church family and everyone who offered a kind word, condolence and prayers during our time of bereavement.
