Cora Lee Jamerson passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Covenant Healthcare- Cooper. Age 60 years.
Cora was born January 23, 1951 in Sweden, Arkansas to Samie D. and Ernestine Jamerson. Cora accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop W.H. White until her health failed her.
She worked as a cashier for Walmart for 10 years. She retired from Dicmo International after 35 years of service as an Electronic Technician.
She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Samie (Leanda) Jamerson; nine sisters, Elsie (Lowell) Thomas, Marrison, Missouri, Pearlie Mae Wesby-Adams, Saginaw, Michigan, Cordia (Gilbert) Scott, Orlando, Florida, Patricia (Michael) Morris, Colonial Heights, Virginia, Betty (Reginald) Elerby, Leander, Texas, Beverly Jamerson, Mishawaka, Indiana, Tina Jamerson, Alfreda (Maurice Sr.) Randle both of Saginaw, Michigan and Freda (Marco Sr. ) Ward, Newport News, Virginia; her dog Billy; four aunts, two uncles, many other relatives and friends, including special nieces, Marque Lipscomb, Skyla Jackson and Gladys Williams which who she raised; a special cousin, Cora B. Broadus; a special nephew, JaGregory Randle that always made her laugh and her special caregivers, LaTasha and ShaVon Jamerson, Torri Beemon and Barry Booker.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ernestine Jamerson, grandparents, Ernest and Ida Brown, uncles, Ernest Brown Jr. and Sambo, brother, Samie C. Jamerson, niece, Shalona Jackson, nephew, George Jamerson, great-nephew, George E. Jamerson.
