Mrs. Corine Wheeler passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at McLaren-Greater Lansing in Lansing, Michigan. Age 65 years. She was born April 13, 1954 in Caruthersville, Missouri, the daughter of Herman and Corine Brown.

Corine Wheeler was a long-time resident of Lansing, Michigan. She was a faithful member of Vessel of Life Church and Solid Rock Baptist Church. She was an employee of General Motors Oldsmobile Division for thirty-three years working from 1973 to 2006. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend. She enjoyed working, cooking, decorating and shopping. She also loved dancing, traveling and most of all being with family.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Ralph Wheeler, Lansing, Michigan; 4 children, daughters Terina Knox, Sheleaka Brown, LucChrisa Caldwell (special daughter), and son, Ralph Wheeler, Jr.; goddaughters, Tyneisha Brooks and Tanisha Payton; stepchild, Stacey Wise; 9 grandchildren, Tywone Brown, Tyreshe Knox, Shondell Knox, Tony Knox, Jr., Shanice Watkins, Amia Jackson, Kamia Jackson, Jy’meir and Raniyha Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Zayvion Brown, Arizona, Cameron Winnie, Myah Knox, Zymier Brown; Stepmother, Luella Christian, Lansing; 1 sister, Teina Christian; 3 brothers, Willie Henry Wilhite, Las Vegas, Neveda, Charles Wilhite, Sr. and Lovie Wilhite, Sr.; 13 nieces, Deborah Benson, Sonya Christian, Jessica Digs, Angela McKissic, Kendra Christian, Shameka Hicks, Otisha Hicks, Carol William, Teresa Reynolds, Lynette Crenshaw, Miranda Caesar, Latoya Felica Wheeler, Keshia Wilhite, Alicia Burns and one special niece, Sakita Cotheran; 7 nephews, Charles Christian, Lorie Wilhite, Vincets Wilhite, Charles Wilhite, Jr., Darren Christian, Shane Christian, and Montrail Christian; 2 great nephews, Marquies Davis and Victor Clayborn; many nieces and nephews; 3 special cousins, Bertha Nick, Virgie Crenshaw and Cristine Smith; 5 sisters-in-law, Vickie Wilhite, Las Vegas, Donna Christian, Carrie Wheeler, Lillie MacBennett and Martha Stephenson; 3 brothers-in-law, Bobby Wheeler, John Wheeler and Jimmy Wheeler; other relatives and friends including special friends, Lillie McNeal and LuChrisa Caldwell.
