Cornelius King

Mr. Cornelius King Jack passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at McLaren Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 70 years. He was born November 15, 1942 in Huntington, Tennessee to Audrain King Sr. and Mary Barnes.
Cornelius moved to Bay City, Michigan where he raised his three daughters. He was employed at General Motors for 33 faithful years and retired in 2002 at the age of 59 years. Cornelius enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family and friends. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Cornelius leaves in Gods care three daughters, Bessie Hodder of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Gwendolyn (Jamie) Gray-Watts of Bay City, Michigan, Andrea (Robert) Clipper of Bay City, Michigan; three stepchildren, Thressa (Larry) Price-White, Leticia Price, Verlardner Price; nine grandchildren, Marsha Griffin, Shanell (Dana) Johnson, Keyansa (Jesse) Gray, Branden Hodder, Andrew Laudenslager, David (Mackenzie) McNary, Jaelyn and Tanise Clipper, Chris McCarty; seventeen great-grandchildren, Justin McCulloh, Mychael McCulloh, Yazmene Johnson, Jesseia Peterson, Julius McCulloh, Kamryn Johnson, Jey Laudenslager, Savanna Oloughlin, TaKyah Laudenslager, Damien OLoughlin, Amon Laudenslager, Xanthan Johnson, Kalima McCulloh, Keyahra Peterson, Dorian McNary, David McNary Jr. and Jakeyla Peterson; two brothers, Audrain (Margaret) King Jr. and Eddy Wicks; three sisters, Turlean Tharpe, Mattie Pearson and Willie Mae Pearson; one step-sister, Robin Hunter; one step-brother, Robert Hunter; special relatives, Edger Willis, Reverend Leon (JoAnn) King, Shanea (William) Evans, along with their daughters, Jonae, Jalaya and Janiya; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Purnell Williams, Robert (Paula) Jenkins, Russell (Margaret) Davis, Judy Smith and Bob Enser.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alvera P. King, parents, Audrain King Sr. and Mary Barnes, stepmothers, Eva King and Helen Hunter, one sister, Beatrice Pearson B, one brother, Hulen Wicks.
Our family would like to thank all of the family and friends for their expressions of love, support and prayers during our time of bereavement. Our deepest and most heartfelt thanks goes out to you all.
