Cornelius Sr. Galvin

Mr. Cornelius Galvin Sr. passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at St. Marys of Michigan Medical Center. Age 60 years. He was born December 6, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri to James and Juanita Galvin.
Cornelius was a construction worker and handyman who enjoyed fishing, cooking and working on cars. He loved life, his family and taking care of his beloved wife of 43 years, Brenda Galvin. She preceded him in death on February 13, 2015. Gone too soon, but never forgotten, his wonderful presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to celebrate his legacy one son, Cornelius Culpepper (Kialonee Bowie); stepchildren, Anthony, Linda, Damarius and Felicia Dawkins; grandchildren, ZaNiya and Nastassja Culpepper; five sisters, Lena Mae (Danny) Monroe, Diane, Barbara, Angela and Louise Galvin; three brothers, Michael (Cynthia) Galvin, Larry and Freddie Galvin; many other relatives and friends including his special friends, God, Cornelius Culpepper and Dan Shivers.
Cornelius was preceded in death by the love of his life, Brenda Jean Galvin, one sister, Linda Galvin, one brother, James Allen Galvin, parents, James and Juanita Galvin, grandparents, Owen and Alice Galvin.
The family wishes to express special thanks to everyone who offered prayers, condolences and kind words.
