Cortez Hampton, Jr.

Mr. Cortez Hampton, Jr. passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 15 years. Cortez was born in Iowa City, Iowa, on October 30, 2007, to Amanda Marie Comtois Walker and Cortez Delanderous Hampton, Sr.

Cortez was a good person who was funny and always had something to say with his goofy self. He also enjoyed playing his video games, making raps, and spending time with his family. Cortez had a great sense of humor, and he always went out of his way to help others. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Cortez leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Amanda Marie (Johnny) Walker; father, Cortez Delanderous Hampton, Sr.; three brothers Derelle, Alyjah, and Nalege; four sisters, Amarianna, Dajah’nae, Princess, and Cortera; one stepbrother and two stepsisters, Johnny Jr., Aaliyah, and Janiyah; four nephews; two nieces; one great-grandmother; two grandmothers; two grandfathers; one great-aunt and uncle; many other aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Cortez was preceded in death by a great-grandmother, a great-aunt, and an uncle.
