Courtney Kirnon

April 2, 1991 — June 2, 2022

Our beloved angel departed this earthly life at home on Thursday June 2, 2022 at the age of 31. She was born April 2, 1991 in Saginaw, Michigan to Leroy Sr. and Patricia Kirnon.


Courtney was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She attended Saginaw High School and graduated class of 2009. She was a member of New Life Baptist Ministries. Her hobbies were being a part of the church choir, dance/praise team, and volunteering with the Homecoming Committee at her former High School. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. Everyone who knew Courtney knew she loved kids and her favorite thing in the world was being a mother to her son.


Courtney was a devoted mother she leaves to cherish in her memory one son, Kyren Kirnon; her parents, Leroy Sr. and Patricia Kirnon of Saginaw, MI; grandparent, Josephine Kirnon of London; two sisters, Shevonda (Wendell) Butler and Whitney Kirnon all of Saginaw, MI; two brothers, Leroy Jr. (Michena) Kirnon and Marcus Kirnon of Saginaw, MI; five nieces, Sha’Myri Smith, Tierra Kirnon, Cheyenne Butler, Laelah Kirnon, Teyana Kirnon, all of Georgia; four nephews, Stephon Butler, Teondray Kirnon, Treysean Butler, Bryant Butler, all of Georgia; two aunts, Dawn Kirnon of New York, Lorna Kirnon of London; one special aunt, Elizabeth Myles of Saginaw, MI, whom she called “grandma”; three uncles, Floyd Smith of Kalamazoo, MI, George Kirnon of Bridgetown Barbados, Jack Steadman-Kirnon of London; one sister-in-law, Michena Kirnon of Saginaw, MI; one brotherin-law, Wendell Butler of Saginaw, MI; a host of many cousins; special friends including Stahrquis Francis, Janice Strowder, Beyonka Lawrence, Charonda McClaine, China Baker, Marquetta Sears all of Saginaw, MI, and Deshay Dottery of New  York; her god-mother, Carla Barton of Saginaw, MI; two god-sisters, Kamaria Davis and Ashley Phillips all of Saginaw, MI.


Courtney was preceded in death by one uncle and three grandparents.


The family would like to express a special thank you to Pastor and First Lady Craig Tatum along with the New Life Church family. As well as those who took the time out to call, text, or visit us. We appreciate everyone for all of the prayers and love. A special thanks to the staff at Davita Dialysis that took care of our angel. Thank you to Ivan E. Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
