Craig Steven Houston (Lansing)

June 18, 1969 — September 15, 2015

After a lengthy illness, Mr. Craig Steven Houston peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 15, 2015. Craig was the youngest child born to Jim and Joyce Ann Houston on June 18, 1969 in Lansing, Michigan. He accepted the Lord in his life at an early age.
Craig attended school in the Lansing School District. He was previously employed by Art Van and Peckam Industries. Rap is poetry and Craig, known by many as Big Absolute was a poet. He was a genuine lover of music. He expressed his thoughts and his experiences through this art form. His music reflected on society, changes in the world and his personal experience. Big Absolute touched many lives with his music. His presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory by three children, NiRee Owens, LaQuan and Maranda Houston; four brothers, Julian (Gingi) Houston, Jimmy (Anita) and Joe Wilson and James (Michelle) Jones; one sister, Dorothy (John) Doss; four grandchildren, JayDyce, ArMae, AMaya and Ayden Houston; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Joyce Houston, brother, Ivery Jones and sister, Jimmie Lee Houston.
