Crystal Jean Tinsley

Ms. Crystal Jean Tinsley was born June 16, 1960 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of James Albert Sr. and Cleotha Tinsley. She went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 28, 2020 at the age of 60 years.

First and foremost, Crystal was a dedicated mother. She cherished her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma. Her vivacious personality always made people around her laugh.

Crystal always told you the truth, even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. She believed in telling the truth and her heart was pure. She would give you her last and provide any assistance she could to help out. Our dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend is now at peace and safe in the Master’s arms.

Crystal was greeted at heaven’s gates by her parents, James Sr. and Cleotha Tinsley, who preceded her in death.

She leaves a lifetime of memories with four children, Shavonn Butterfield, Monquez Tinsley, Montrell Tinsley, Percy Butterfield, Jr.; two sisters, Leslie Kay Brown, Vanessa (John) Scott; brothers, Jeffrey Tinsley, James Jr. (Asia) Tinsley, Andre (Jill) Tinsley; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loved ones and friends.
