Mr. Curtis Anthony Williams went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 15, 2016 at McLaren Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City, Michigan. Age 51 years. He was born May 2, 1965 in Bay City, Michigan to Purnell and Florice Williams.
Curtis was a resident of Bay City, Michigan where he attended Bay City Central High School. Curtis accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour at an early age. He knew God and understood that Jesus died on the cross for his sins. Curtis was a big brother and friend with a big heart and a wonderful smile. Many knew him as an all-around good person. He loved sports, especially baseball, and his teammates who played for Stoneys of Bay City. Curtis will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish loving memories, his parents, Purnell Williams and Florice Williams; two sisters, Yvette (Rodney) Williams Fairley of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, April Hawthorne, Zachary, Louisiana; two nieces, Neshia Toins, KeGan Taylor; two nephews, Darnell K. Melvin, Jr. and Elijah Fairley; five aunts, Neil Marshall, Saginaw, Michigan, Eerstine (Tom) Williams, Bay City, Michigan, Betty Beasley, Saginaw, Michigan, Martha Burks, South Dakota, and Essiline Pickette, Bay City, Michigan; six uncles, Albert Burks of California, Fredrick (Michelle) Burks, Saginaw, Michigan, Lee Williams, Reverend John Williams, George Williams, Jr., Bay City, Michigan and Columbus Williams of Shreveport, Louisiana; many cousins, other relatives and friends; special friend, Jamie Johnson, Sr.
Curtis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Reverend George (Betsey) Williams, and Robert Burks; aunt, Stella Johnson; uncles, Joseph and Calvin Burks; aunt, Lorraine Morris.
The family extends special thanks to everyone who offered kind words and other expressions of love, support and concern during our bereavement.
