Curtis Wesley Beavers "Murk"

Mr. Curtis Wesley Beavers passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023. Age 44 years. Curtis who was affectionately called “Murk” by all, was born June 17, 1979, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Tonya Beavers Joe, and Curtis Willis Jr.

Murk’s spirit would brighten any and everyone around. He had a laugh that was infectious. He was a loyal, and kindhearted person; a giver to all, but most of all he was a protector. There was nothing Murk would not do for any family member or friend. He will be greatly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Caprice Nicole Epps, Youngtown, Ohio; parents, Tonya Beavers Joe, and Curtis Willis Jr.; stepparents, Sadie Willis, and Sammy Joe; four sisters, Adrienne (Jacques) Richardson, Serena Beavers, Jessica (Marlon) Jackson, and Kimisha Joe; five brothers, Gerald (Kelly) Young, Courtney (Nicole) Young, Elvin Dunn, Lamont Joe, and Kaelon Joe; three nieces, MaRae Grace, Antoria Staton, and Nickayla, DeGroat; ten nephews, Dimitrius “Scooter” Willis, DaRayvion Hogg, Shawn (Keanna) Cook, Damen Staton, Kim Beavers, Eric Davis, Freddie Reese, Bryson Willis, Curtez Brookins, and Elijah Brooks; aunts, Ernestine (Richard) Parker, Angella Staten, Dieardra (Terry) Taylor, Corniethia (Marvel) Harvey, and Patsy Willis; uncle, Clifford (Rhonda) Banks; four cousins, Tyronne (NuNu) Vaughans, Lakisha and Corey Beavers, and Tania Mitchell; one brother-in-law, Jacques Richardson; many other relatives and friends.

Curtis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jimmy and Grace Willis, Clifford and Ernestine Banks, Frankie Phillips, and Albert Robinson Sr.
