Da'Lance Stephens "Tay-Tay"

Mr. Da’Lance Stephens “Tay-Tay” passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan, Age 33 years. He was born August 14, 1990, in Saginaw, to Dashawna Stephens and Lance Stevenson.


Tay-Tay was raised in Saginaw, Michigan, where he attended Saginaw Public Schools. Growing up, he enjoyed skating and listening to music. Tay-Tay enjoyed dressing up and staying “fly.” He loved his family, especially his two daughters. No matter what he was going through, Da’Lance always showed his beautiful smile. He had a playful personality, always making family and friends laugh. Tay-Tay will be greatly missed.


He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Tavianna and Taylor Stephens; his mother, Dashawna “De-De” Stephens; father, Lance Stevenson; his grandmother, Linda Monroe; two sisters, Keisha Williams, and Shakoya Simon; two brothers, Torrion Stevenson Sr., and Daryl White; he also leaves many nieces and nephews; two aunts, Taneal Johnson and Tanisha (James) Carthan; six uncles, Tony Stevenson, Cole Stevenson Bey, Torrion Smith, Micheal and Freddie Simpson, and Justin Lee; many cousins including special cousins, Damon Stephens, Jovon Mitchell, An’Quavia and An’Quiniece Moore; his godmother, Auya Stephens; Tay-Tay also leaves many other relatives and friends including Regina Cortez, mother of his daughters; special friends, Mike McDole, Derrion Beverly, Bryant Bentley, Ariyona Brewer, Alfred and Marcus Barney, Rodney O., DeQuavis Smith "Black" and Marcus Hunt.


Da’Lance was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cole and Betty Stevenson, Mack Neal and Eileen Johnson.
