Dameion Donnell Pittman (Lansing)

Mr. Dameion Donnell Pittman passed away Monday, May 27, 2024, at his residence in Lansing, Michigan, at the age of 51 years old. He was born Tuesday, April 17, 1973, in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Sherill Pittman.

Dameion was raised in Lansing, Michigan. He confessed his belief in Jesus Christ and received him into his heart as Lord and Savior in 2018. Dameion worked for the State of Michigan for 10 years. He attended Michigan State University but was a HUGE University of Michigan fan. He was always the life of party; Dameion was a socialite. That is why he gained his nicknames, “DP”, “Dip”, “Dip City” just to name a few. Dameion was also known for his style-Stayed Fly! He was always dressed in the latest fashion, and he was a trendsetter. His interests include hanging out with his cousins, family, and friends. Dameion was a huge sports fan, specifically for the Detroit Lions! He also had a special love for his dog, Qduece. Dameion’s unique and infectious laugh will truly be missed by everyone. Dameion loved and was loved by many.

He leaves to cherish his memory aunts, Adova (Leroy) Bridges and Vanessa (Boswell) Bridges; uncle, James McClure; special cousins more like siblings, Kim Pittman, La’Braun Crayton, Kendra Williams, Antonio Pittman, Foster Pittman, Makayla Porter, Melissa Bridges, and Alphonso Bridges; many other cousins including special cousins Shanell Henry and Tesha Davis, other relatives, and friends including special family friends, Roxanne Phifer and Tamika Phifer.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherill Pittman; grandmother, MaryLou Pittman; grandfather, Willie Pittman, Sr.; uncles, Willie Pittman, Jr. and Michael Pittman.
