Mr. Damon Lamar Johnson, Jr. passed away Monday, June 14, 2021, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 19 years. He was born March 18, 2002, in Lansing, Michigan to his parents. Nikole Smith and Damon Johnson.

Damon attended Waverly and Lansing Schools. In 2015, Damon gave his life to the Lord as he became a member of Mind, Body, and Soul Outreach Ministries. He enjoyed playing basketball, video games; he also loved to swim and shop. Damon loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion for music at a young age. Damon loved being in the studio recording.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Nikole Smith and Damon Johnson, Sr.; grandparents, John Smith and Stephany Terry; great-grandmother, Ruby Quarles; 6 sisters, Nikiya, Denise, Deyonce, Nakayla, Janiya and Jada; 2 brothers, Damonte and Brandon; 3 nieces, Erinn, Leah, and Ambrejia; 2 nephews, Zaiden and Elijah; 2 aunts, Yolanda Smith and Kidada Smith; 2 uncles, Joseph Smith and Andre Johnson; 8 cousins, Brandon, Symone, Josiua, Latrell, Alisia, Tyrese, Jai and Jayse; many other relatives and friends including special friend, Aaleya Perez.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carolyn E. Owens and grandfather, Lawrence Terry.
