Daniel "Jake" Dickinson

Mr. Daniel Mark Dickinson was born August 25, 1963 in Saginaw, Michigan to Marlene Rita (Rivette) Cook. He suddenly departed this life on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the age of 55 years.

Daniel, known as “Jake”, was an avid sports fan and a ride or die Detroit Lions fan. He was extremely loyal to the Lions even when they didn’t win a single game in the 2008 season. He was a hard-working man, having devoted nearly a decade of hard work to his most recent place of employment, Hi-Tech Steel Treating, Inc.

Jake was a gentle and kind-hearted man that had room in his heart for every soul on earth. But it was his children that occupied the number one spot in his life. He loved his children fiercely and with his whole heart. He will be missed all who knew and loved him.

Jake leaves to cherish his memory two children, Megan Danielle(Jon) Bull, Jacob Daniel Dickinson and their mother, Dawn Dickinson; his mother, Marlene Rita Cook; sisters, Andrea Warren, Brenda Cook; brothers, Phillip “Skip" Cook, Mike Dickinson, Gary Dickinson; mother-in-law, Sandra “Mema” Ware; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Jake was preceded in death by his brothers, Terry Dickinson, William Cook, Patrick Dickinson; and sister, DeEtta McCallum.
