Darlene Williams

Mrs. Darlene Williams made her transition on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. She was born January 30, 1949 in Saginaw, Michigan to Betty Jean (Andrews) and Andrew L. Williams.

Darlene graduated from Saginaw High School, “Class of 1967.” She obtained her associates degree in Criminal Justice and became a corrections officer for the State of Michigan, from where she later retired.

Darlene had one hobby, shopping. She loved everyone and was a giver who always tried to help those around her. She enjoyed family, Christmas, and spoiling her biggest baby, Ham.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband of twenty years, Tommie Lee Williams “Ham”; parents; Betty Jean and Andrew L. Williams; grandson, Karie McAllister; sister-in-law, Patsy Williams; aunt, Joann Garrett.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Marcheta (Jessie) Todd, Flint, Michigan, Stephanie (Greg) Dale, Ypsilanti, Michigan; two sons, Sterling Jr. (Tina) Jordan, Redford, Michigan, Tommie (Diane) Henderson, Saginaw, Michigan; grandchildren, Bennie Williams, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Andrew Williams, Diamond Bates, both of Flint, Michigan, Sterling and Tierra Jordan, Redford, Michigan; two great-grandchildren, KahMari Williams and Kalani Arkwright, Flint, Michigan; brother, Andrew (Mary) Williams, Grand Rapids, Michigan; sisters, Andrea Tate and Sonja Lampkin, Saginaw, Michigan; brother-in-law, Bennie (Elaine) Williams, Saginaw, Michigan; sister-in-law, Margaret Brown, Saginaw, Michigan; aunts, Lizzy Anderson, June Bradley, Vicki Lou Bradley, all of Saginaw, Michigan; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends Ann and Buddy Strouthers, Renee Kaiser, and Brenda Martin.
