Darnell Wilson

Ms. Darnell Wilson, our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Auntie and Friend went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 29, 2018. She was born February 4, 1949 in Osceola, Arkansas, to the late James and Elnora Branch. Age 69 years.

Darnell was employed at Hoyt Nursing Home for many years. She was a member of Grace Church of God in Christ. She was very loving and caring and spent her life taking care of others, something Darnell enjoyed doing.

Darnell was predeceased by her former husband, Arthur Black, Sr.; parents, James and Elnora Branch; brother, James Branch, Jr.; son, Rance Black; grandson, Arthur Black, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Marionna Black; daughter-in-law. Theresa Jones; godson, Carl Thomas; great-nephew, Melvin Johnson, Jr.; uncles, Tim, Wiley, Albert Johnny Short; aunts, Queen, Carrie Short and Bessie Fowlkes.

Surviving are her daughter, Shadana (Travares) Jenkins; three sons, Arthur (Ora), Daryl (Shadana), Marvin Black; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Annie, Brenda, Jane Branch; three aunts; one uncle; one very special sister-in-law, Shirley Branch; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special friends, Ernestine Grandberry and Dorothy Brown.
