Darris Turell Johnson

Darris Turell Johnson "Nikz" passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Age 18 years. He was born July 24, 1994 in Saginaw, Michigan to Timiya Johnson, Lemon T. Nash and stepfather, Michael Jeffries.
Darris was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He enjoyed basketball, video games, shopping, hanging with friends and attending church services. Darris was a very polite gentleman who would always smile at anyone he spoke to. He loved his mother, grandmother, friends and family with his whole heart. His mother MiMi loved her son through life and for an eternity. She raised her son well, always clean and cut which was a top priority. Mother and son was a winning team. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Timiya Johnson and Lemon T. Nash; stepfather, Michael Jefferies; grandparents, Tracey Johnson, Frank Pickett, Gwen Nash, Anthony (Joan) Garth; great-grandparents, Helen Johnson and Mamie Pickett; two sisters, LeAisha Nash and MyKail Williams; four brothers, Detorrion Johnson, Dominque Milleage, Derrick and Lemont Nash; five aunts, Tokoya Johnson, Sharon Nash, Tiara (Timothy) Baskin, Kenya Parker, Sheree Omoyi, Tonya Garth; six uncles, Dequavious Johnson, Stephon Pickett, Frank Parker, Timothy, Demont and Dewayne Nash; cousins, Shaquille Myrick, Timothy Baskin Jr., Rosie Parker; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Zhane Jackson, Nakiwa Lewis, Jade Hatfield, DreMontae Hicks, Gregory Lee and Tay Duncan.
Darris was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, James Johnson, Laura and Eddie Nash, aunts, Torri Johnson and Gloria Jean Baker, great-aunt, Joline Nash, one uncle, Nathaniel Garth, one cousin, Corey Nash.
