David Gino Teneyuque

Mr. David Gino Teneyuque passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in Kalamazoo, Michigan at the age of 48 years. He was born April 1, 1970 in Saginaw, Michigan to David Teneyuque and Catherine Pena.

Gino was a resident of Kalamazoo, Michigan. He enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to Mexican music and playing softball. David was a “stand-up” guy, funny as heck! He could imitate Tony Montana to the tee. Gino had a big heart for everyone, regardless of what he was going through personally. He made friends easily, and could brighten up any room. Gino enjoyed being a jokester and prankster, and making people laugh. He will be remembered for being protective and loyal to family and friends.

Gino leaves to cherish loving memories two daughters, Valentina Ortega Teneyuque, Muskegon, Michigan, and Alexandrea Monique Teneyuque, Arizona; three stepchildren, Zachary Robinson, Joshua and Tyler Gurley, Kalamazoo, Michigan; grandchildren, Arisella and Lorenzo Hernandez, Muskegon, Michigan, Jesus, Jose and Juanito Ortega all of Muskegon Michigan; one brother, David Jr. (Angela) Teneyuque, Houston, Texas; three sisters, Monique Teneyuque (Juanita), Mary Teneyuque (Juan Soto) and Robin Pena; seven nieces, Jasmine Teneyuque, Anna Espinosa, Arianna and Maya Villinova, Abrianna, Angelica and Catherine Teneyuque, all of Houston, Texas; two special nephews, Joseph Espinosa, and favorite nephew, David Teneyuque, III “Papa;” one special aunt, Linda M.Teneyuque; many cousins including Bridget Gina Teneyuque-Williams and Betty Pacheo Gonzalez; special cousin, Jose R. Teneyuque, Sr.; many other relatives and friends; special former wife, Lisa Teneyuque.

Gino was preceded in death by his mother and father, Catherine Pena and David Teneyuque, Sr.; grandparents, Fred R. (Margaret) Teneyuque; special niece, Linda M. Teneyuque; grandchildren who were twins, Jesus and Jose Ortega.

The family would like to express special thanks to Lisa Teneyuque for being there for Gino; thanks to everyone for your expressions of sympathy, especially prayer, during our bereavement. You are very much appreciated.
