David Rivera

David J. Rivera passed away Friday, November 2, 2012 at his residence. Age 24 years. He was born September 16, 1988 in Saginaw, Michigan to Tyris Shelton and Rose Rivera.
Known as Sunny D-Da Juiceman, David loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed playing basketball, shooting pool, listening to music, eating good food, making fun at people and aggravating his sister. He was well loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
David leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Lena and Aliyah Canales; parents, Tyris Shelton and Rose Rivera; grandmother, Wilma Rivera; one sister, Crystal Rivera; one brother, Thomas Rivera; three nieces, Mercedes Jones-Rivera, Mi-Angel Rivera, Soraya Landin; several aunts and uncles including a special aunt, Julie Rivera; his dearest cousins, Marcus and Vincent Rendon, Melissa Rivera, Jerwayne Hines, Daniel and Carlos Rivera, Loretta Moncado, Joey and Jeremy Vasquez; godsister, Korena Riha; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Alicia Masegian, G-low, Gus, Ant, C-Dub, Pistol, Lil Roy, Uncle Rich, Eric, Stephanie, Angela and Susie Rios, Patricia Youngblood, Tiffany Canales, Rebecca Zamora, Juan Soto, Johnnie Fannon "Booty", Bonnie Riha, Sandy Richards, Big Dave, Big Jeff, Lil' Justin, Monica and Rob Dutcher.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Filomeno G. Rivera; grandmother, Pearl Shelton; three aunts, Teresa Soto, Rita Rivera, Celia Rivera; two uncles, Tony Rivera, Nick Soto.
