Deborah Galloway Jones

I accepted Him into my life and now I am home with Him. On Tuesday, September 13, 2011, Deborah Galloway-Jones answered the Lords call to rest. Age 64 years. She was born November 3, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio born the first daughter of Ardrie Sr. and Jetta Galloway.
Deborah was raised in Toledo, OH until she moved to Saginaw, MI during her teenage years. She attended and graduated Saginaw High School in 1964. She married Percy Jones in August of 1969, he preceded her in death. She obtained her Associates Degree from Davenport College and worked at Arties Flower Shop as well as held various positions in the family business, Galloway Enterprise until retirement. She was a member of Triumph Baptist Church in Detroit, MI under the leadership of Solomon Kinloch Jr. where she was baptized in 2008. Deborahs brilliant mind, quick wit and infectious smile captivated anyone who had the opportunity to grace her presence.
Deborah is survived by her sons, Sean D. Galloway, Saginaw, MI, Stephon (Yolanda) Galloway, Chesterfield Township, MI; daughter, MeShawn (James) Harrison, Van Buren Township, MI, God-daughter, Marsharee (DeLeonce) Williams, Saginaw, MI; sister, Sylvia (Bobby) Jones, Saginaw, MI; 14 grandchildren including a special granddaughter, Allandria Haulcy whom she helped raise; 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends including a very dear niece, Yvette Dottery.
Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Jones Jr.; daughter, Monee Jones; parents, Ardrie Sr. and Jetta Galloway, brothers, Ardrie Galloway Jr. and Charles Galloway.
