Delano Cortez Green

Our beloved son, Delano Cortez Green “Scootie,” went home to be with his heavenly father on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital. Age 31 years. He was born August 6, 1991, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Angela Marie McNeal and Ronald Keith Stanback.

Delano was the youngest of three children. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working on cars, music, laughing, telling jokes, and hanging out with friends and family.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved mother, Angela Marie McNeal; father, Ronald Keith(Helen) Stanback; seven children, Isiah Eiland Cortez Green, Zalani Green, Zakari Smothers, Alaya Green, Delila Green, Gabrielle Green; five sisters, Desiray McNeal, Brittany Stanback, and Antanisha Forte, Saginaw, Michigan; Dominique Miles, Chicago, Illinois, Nicole Hargrove, Iowa, Michigan; two brothers, DeAngelo McNeal, and Ronald Forte, Saginaw, Michigan; grandmother, Arlene McNeal, Detroit, Michigan; special aunt and uncle, Allysa Coleman, and Leroy Coleman; special friends, Zenobia Smothers, and Precious King.

Delano was preceded in death by his grandmother, Thelma Stanback, grandfathers, Homer Bradley, and William Green Jr., many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
