Deleon J. Buchanan passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at Heartland Healthcare. Age 47 years. He was born October 15, 1965 in Saginaw, Michigan to Michael and Polly Buchanan.
Deleon was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He attended Saginaw High School. Deleon was a faithful member for many years at Christ Deliverance Center under the leadership of the late Reverend Glenn Nichols and Pastor Verda Nichols. He was a very sharp dresser who loved to eat, listen to music and sporting events. Deleon loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Polly Barkley, Michael and Lois Buchanan; his grandparents, Lonnie and Deb Shuler; two sisters, Pamalin Buchanan, Shirley Dunnaway; seven nieces; six nephews; three aunts, Georgia Harrison, Verna and Tanya Feltson; two uncles, Wyatt and Wesley Strickland; three cousins, Valerie Williams, Rose Strickland and Ronald Williams Jr.; many other relatives and friends including special friends, John and Tone.
Deleon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wyatt Strickland Sr., Marie Strickland, Shirley Shuler and Johnnie Foley.
