Delishous Travon Thomas

Delishous Travon Thomas was born February 3, 1997 in Bay City, Michigan to Tracy and Davonnda Thomas. She passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Bay Regional Medical Center at the age of 24 yrs. Delishous was affectionately known by her nicknames, Lish, Rabbit, and Princess.

Delishous’ parents moved to Bay City, Michigan in 1993 from Saginaw, Michigan to give themselves a better life and living opportunity, which they are happy to say they found. It began at Greater Bible Way of Bay City, Michigan with Pastor/Elder Radar Johnson. Delishous was baptized by Pastor Christopher and May Wathen of Rhema Apostolic Ministries in Saginaw, Michigan where she taught youth ministries and performed praise dances along with other things. Delishous graduated from Bay City Central in 2015 and began taking classes to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. She absolutely loved working with the elderly with the dream of one day becoming a Registered Nurse. Delishous worked at a few nursing homes with the last one being Heartland Home Health Care in Bay City.

With hopes of building her own family and becoming a mother one-day Delishous played a significant role in the life of two young ladies, Aaliyah Telfor and London Colburn, and to many other children. She was known as “TT Lish”. Delishous loved being a mom to these girls and doing fun stuff with them. If she loved you, she would do anything for you. Delishous loved unconditionally, good or bad, right or wrong, and she never judged anyone, but always saw the best in everyone.

Delishous leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Tracy and Davonnda Thomas; grandparents, Shirley Nickelberry; grandmother and best friend, Idella Thomas-King; sister, Brandi Thomas; sister/cousins, De’Quesha and ShanTiara Grimmett, Amese Connor; brothers, Demonttwon, Demontae, Tracy, Eddie, Brandon, Sam, and Andrew Thomas; four aunts and one great-aunt; four uncles; one great-uncle; many nieces, nephews and cousins; special friend, Andrew Telfor; best friend, Kalynn Williams, and many other special childhood friends.

Delishous was preceded in death by her grandfather, Melvin Johnson, and great-grandmother, Lorene Grimmett.

The family would like to express heartfelt special thanks to everyone that has helped us during this difficult time.
