Delivrance Joseph (Lansing)

Ms. Delivrance Joseph passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Mother Teresa House in Lansing, Michigan. Age 87 years. She was born April 4, 1932 in Caphaitien, Haiti, the daughter of Prevalus Joseph and Lucienne Vilcin.

Ms. Delivrance moved to the United States many years ago. She made trips home to Haiti whenever she could. Ms. Delivrance enjoyed going to church, watching TV, telling stories about life and raising children.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Gertrude Pierre and Lucie (Ronald) Cardet; sons, Stmartin (Marguerite) Pierre and Willie (Arnouse Thomas) Pierre; 20 grandchildren, Martine, Nathalie, Taciana, Tamara, Noldy, Luma, Sanvil, Marie Adeline, Altana, Gladys and Berling Pierre, Orlando, Rodolph, Jean Gardy, Yetteny, Lourdes, Jenna Nunca and Jenny Cardet; 38 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Jean Vilmar; 5 nieces, Claudin Pierre, Yseland Pierre, Anne Rose Joseph, Nelta Thelusma and Manuella Alize; 4 nephews, Emmanuel Joseph, Moleon Joseph, Anchel Joseph and Stevens Joseph; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death, 23 years before her by her husband, Timoleon Pierre; her parents; brothers Clautire Joseph, Emilia Joseph and Adelmonde Joseph.
