Delores Trejo (Lansing)

Mrs. Dolores Pequeno Trejo passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023, at home with her loving family surrounding her with love. She was 100 years old. Dolores was born Wednesday, March 21, 1923, in Mexico. She was the seventh child of ten children.

Dolores moved to Texas in her early 20s. She moved to Lansing, Michigan in the 1960’s. Dolores was a long-time member of Maranatha Bi-lingual Assembly of God Church in Lansing, where she served on the Women’s Board. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family, cooking, gardening, singing, playing Mexican games with her family, reading her Bible and having many conversations with God.

She leaves to cherish her memory her granddaughter, Jennifer (DeJuan) Lewis and Jesse Trevino; great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Dezaray and Dominic Lewis and Ashton Loznak; sister, Teresa Rosario; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emilio Trejo; daughter and son-in-law, Rosalinda and Jesse Trevino; parents, and eight of her 9 siblings.
