Deloris Walkinhood (Davis) departed this life on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at her residence in Lansing, Michigan, at the age of 72. She was born May 3, 1944 in Picayune, Mississippi to Alonzo Lee and Elizabeth Davis.

The Davis Family relocated to Lansing, Michigan where Deloris attended Kalamazoo Street Elementary, West Junior High, and J. W. Sexton High Schools. She retired from General Motors after 30 years of dedicated service. While working at General Motors, she met her loving husband, Gordon.
