Demetrius "Dee" Wright (Lansing)

Mr. Demetrius "Dee" Wright passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 in Lansing, Michigan. Age 42 years. He was born in Lansing, Michigan on November 7, 1977 to his parents, Demetrius Watts and Mishelle Wright.

Demetrius was raised in Lansing and attended Lansing Everett High School. He eventually completed his GED. Dee was employed at United Lawncare and formerly employed at Faurecia Interior Systems. His hobbies included playing softball, travel, eating, watching sports. Dee loved to joke around a lot; he always had jokes. Demetrius was a devoted and loving family man. His family meant everything to him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Bianca Nicole Cavazos and Amiya Lynn Grahm; mother, Mishelle Wright; grandmother, Marion Watts; sisters, Krista Leigh Wright and Tonya Lynn Martinez; nieces, Arica Miller, Jamara Randall and Monique Tucker; nephew, Maqauri Boyer; aunts, Kari Halsey and Yvetta Jones-Revels; uncles, Anthony Jones, Reginald Jones, Cornelius Jones, Alphonso Jones, Quentin Jones, Steve Wright, Jeff Wright, Nathaniel Jones, Jr., Anthony Robinson and Derrick Jones; many cousins, other relatives and friends especially in the softball community.

He was preceded in death by his father, Demetrius Watts; grandpa, Andrew People; great-grandfather, Joseph Watts and uncle, Cedric Jones.
