Demonta Maurice Hudson (Lansing)

Mr. Demonta Maurice Hudson, better known as “Juice” and “Burgerbaby,” passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023, at Sparrow Healthcare System, Sparrow Campus in Lansing, Michigan, at the age of 40 years old. He was born to the union of Delayno Raymont Hudson, Sr. and Rosalyn Seivon McFadden-Walson on Friday, January 28th,1983 in Lansing, Michigan.

Demonta's educational journey led him to obtain his G.E.D. and throughout his academic pursuits, Demonta also had a love for basketball. He shared his love for basketball with his son, Demonta II and bonus son, TJ. Demonta always said he could beat them both. The boys thought that to be funny. Demonta had a love for animals and with “Mia” his beloved “dog child” he decided Dog Breeding was his niche. Demonta opened his dog breeding business, 517_kennels. Demonta also was an amazing chef. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending quality time with his kids Demonta and Delayna. He also loved to travel, listen to music especially (PIMP C), comedy, going out to eat, being laid back in the house, or bothering his mother on a daily basis. He found solace and joy in these activities. Demonta was a night owl as we all know and some of those nights were spent with his little brother, Martell. They laughed, played video games and Demonta left a lot of knowledge with Martell. Can't forget his special friend, Shelton better known as his brother that he always looked up to.

Demonta possessed a heart overflowing with love, always putting the needs of others before his own. Demonta was admired by friends and family for his unwavering loyalty and unwavering support. He had a natural ability to bring people together and create a sense of unity. His infectious laughter, warm smile, and gentle demeanor brightened the lives of all who crossed his path. Demonta will be deeply missed by his family members, friends, or loved ones who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts, especially his mother.

Demonta is survived by his son, Demonta Hudson II; daughter, Delayna Hudson; mother, Rosalyn McFadden-Walson; stepdad, Ricky Brown; fiancé, Latricia Taylor; bonus children, Niqueco, Tiana, Timarion, and Terrence; brothers Delayne Hudson and Martell Brown; sisters, Dymond Brown, Kennedy Hudson, and Larisha Taylor, many cousins including special cousin, Teka McFadden; many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Delayno Hudson, Sr.; brother, Delayno Hudson Jr.; grandparents, Clara Mae Hudson, Joyce Newell-McFadden, and Roland McFadden; special great-grandparents, Lilly-Mae and Nathaniel Smith.
