Dennie Whitley

Mr. Dennis Whitley, beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2009. Age 42 years. He was born on February 21, 1967 in Saginaw, Michigan to Willie Lee Whitley and Bertha Mae Whitley.
Mr. Whitley accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. He loved playing basketball, cooking, and spending time with his family whom he loved very much. The Music Man.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters and one son, Mary Whitley, Sharnice and Demontay Wilson all of Saginaw, MI; one granddaughter, JeMaryah Basset of Saginaw, MI; his mother Bertha Mae Whitley (Leo Blucey) of Saginaw, MI; father, Willie (Carrie) Whitley of Saginaw, MI; six sisters and two brothers, Elaine Bowen, Shellie (Charles) Tullos, Chontonya, Tiamara, Timika Reynolds, Patricia Sutton, Tyraunda (Kenneth) Reed, Desma Reynolds and Jeffery Sutton all of Saginaw, MI; one sister-in-law, Margaret Whitley of Saginaw, MI; one great uncle, Tranlee (Mary) Macklin of Albany, GA; three god-brothers; two god-sisters; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends Earlynn (Lynn) Wilson and Chuck.
He was predeceased by one brother, Jerry Lee Whitley; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Waiter Adams and Mr. & Mrs. Willie Lee Whitley Sr.
