Mr. Dennis Charles Westbrook was born August 31, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan to Jimmie Lee and Mary Lee Westbrook. He passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the age of 62 years old.
Dennis was a long-term resident of Saginaw, Michigan and a graduate of Saginaw High School. He enjoyed playing cards, dominoes and chess. He was also a music lover and enjoyed watching baseball.
Dennis was a family man and he enjoyed spending time with his children and especially his grandchildren. He put his family first and was always there when needed. His absence will be felt but his presence will never be forgotten.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Lee and Mary Lee Westbrook; sisters, Sharon Ann and Deniece Westbrook; brother, Donald Allen Westbrook; granddaughter, Amari Tyson; nephew, Melvin Douglas Lewis, Jr.; aunts, Eva Bell Westbrook, Loula Bell Terry; uncles, Walter Matzie, Terry and Cleveland Cunningham.
He leaves precious memories with his sons, Quincy (Brandi) Hayes, Nicona DeGroat; daughter, Denise (Raymond) Tyson; grandchildren, Solathian Holiday, Quincy Jr., Quintaja, Gabrielle Hayes, Diamond Branch, Dequan Smith, Ayana, NiKayla DeGroat, JaMyia, Wesley Willis II, Raymond, Xavier, Amayiah, Ashounda, David Tyson; sisters, Arlese (Melvin) Lewis, Buffalo, New York, Nora Ann Westbrook-Stephens, Dallas, Texas; brothers, Archie (Debra) James, Jimmie (Beverly) Dell, Douglas (Patricia) Brian, all of Saginaw, Michigan; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including his significant other, Ms. Helen Wright.
