Mr. Dennis Lewis passed away May 13, 2021, at his residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 62 years. He was born March 14, 1959, in Lansing, Michigan to parents, Phillip and Alma Lewis. He was one of seven children.
Dennis enjoyed fishing, roller skating, and his father’s cooking; he loved to listen to music, play pool, and was always ready to play a game of spades. He was known to spend time with Monte and his friends at the barbershop. Dennis resided with his long-term caregiver, Doris Jackson, for 20 years. He will be missed by his good friend, Calvin Piper, and his many friends at JIMHO.
He was an easy-going man who loved to spend time with his family in the summer, barbequing and playing dominoes. Dennis was a person full of life and laughter. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. He will forever remain in the heart of all those who loved him.
Dennis leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Phillip Lewis; sisters, Valdeen and Philicia; brothers, Marcus (Cassandra) and Jimmy; and many other family members, including nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alma Lewis; and brothers, Melvin and David.
