Deon-Te Deshawn Dexter

Our beloved son, father and brother, gained his wings like a dove and went home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2019. He was born August 10, 1985 in Saginaw, Michigan to Sheria Foster and James Otis Washington.

Deon-Te, known as “Dex”, was baptized at the young age of seven at Emmanuel St. Mark Church. He attended Saginaw Public Schools up to Saginaw High and later received his GED.

Dex was a loving son, attentive father, protective brother, loyal friend, and a great family man through and through. His mother and sister were the apple of his eye and his children were his number one priority. He had a huge personality and a great sense of humor. His smile could light up any room and his dimple was an attention getter.

Deon-Te was preceded in death by his father, James Otis Washington; grandfather, Abraham Dexter; grandmother, Ruby Ward; uncles, Ray Ward, Eddie Blakes; best friend, Reginald Filmore, Jr.
