De’Tavion Favorite was born October 27, 2003 in Saginaw, Michigan to David Favorite and Banesha Hamilton. He departed this life on Friday, February 21, 2020 at the tender age of sixteen years.
De’Tavion received Christ at an early age and was baptized at Greater Freewill Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor James E. Speed. Before his death, he was a student at Success Academy of Saginaw. He was a sports fan with basketball as his favorite, and he played on both Wroyal Deans and ADS AAU Teams.
De’Tavion loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved music, laughing, telling jokes, spending time with his son and bothering his siblings 24/7! His smile was bright as the sun and he had the ability to light up any room with his presence. He will truly be missed by those who cared, loved and spent quality time with him.
De’Tavion was preceded in death by his brother, De’Quavious Ronell Southward; grandfather, Carl Harris; great-grandparents, Mattie Harris, Willie and Georgia Washington; uncles, Richard, Robert Hamilton; cousins, Jerry, Daniel, James, Robert Smothers, Jerry Hamilton and Deleon Brown.
