Detorrion Kavon Thomas Liddell

Mr. Detorrion Kavon Thomas Liddell passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the age of 20 years. He was born on July 30, 1997 in Saginaw, Michigan to Troy Boyd and LaKisha Liddell.

Detorrion attended school in the Bridgeport Spaulding Community Schools District. He accepted Christ at an early age. Detorrion was a loving, caring person who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed playing video games and hanging out with his friends. Most of all, he loved spending time with his baby boy, D2. Detorrion’s smile would light up a room. His voice is one that will long be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Detorrion Liddell, Jr., Saginaw, Michigan; parents, LaKisha Liddell and Troy Boyd, Saginaw, Michigan; grandmothers, Ruth Liddell and Minnie Boyd; two great-grandmothers, Dorothy Frierson and Frankie Mae Brown; six sisters, Quintorria Liddell, Brittany Jones, Tamekaua Boyd, Irika Johnson, Kensington Wicker and Keriyah Lee; four brothers, Takory Liddell, Troy Boyd, Daquarious Jones, and Paris Jones; one niece; six aunts, Latonya Willis, his adoptive mother who raised him from the age of seven years, Tenisha Liddell, Rochelle Liddell, Sharronda Willis, Dorothy Boyd, and Rashell Watley Thomas; five uncles, Thomas Liddell, John Boyd, Willie Boyd, Lionell Beckom, and Robert Washington; cousins, La’Niya Barkley, Leslie Barkley and Alasia Liddell-Lawson; many other relatives and friends including his girlfriend and mother of his son, Criveshaun Tillman; special friends, Kahlil Wright, Greg Williams, Kevin Williams, Treahntae Hatter, Jamarion Quarles, Shaquille Harris, Der'reyaunce McDaniel, and special cousin, La'Niya Barkley.

Detorrion was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Thomas Frierson and Robert Watley; great-grandfather, Melvin Frierson; great-grandmother, Lizzie Cooper; great-aunt, Sandra Prince; uncle, Maris Frierson, niece, Daronica Clement; and cousin, Kia Frierson.
