Dewitt Dunn, Jr. passed away May 1, 2019 in Lansing, Michigan. Age 56 years. He was born May 8, 1962 to Willie Mae Williams Littlejohn and Dewitt Dunn, Sr. in Greenwood, Mississippi.
Dewitt moved to Lansing, Michigan in 1967. He graduated from J. W. Sexton High School. He attended Lansing Community College and received his Culinary Arts Degree. Dewitt was very passionate about cooking.
Dewitt Dunn, Jr. was a man of few words but full of life and love for family and those that knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Luv Tasha Nicole Scott; two sons, Christopher Lamarr Scott and Alexander Dewitt Scott, all of Lansing, Michigan; grandchildren, Kris Janae Scott, Xzayveion Scott, DaZhayia Scott, Aaquavion Scott, Xandaija Scott, and Tyrees Edwards; sisters, Mamie Murry and Mary Lee Pierre, both of Lansing, Michigan; brothers, Melvin Sudds of Atlanta, Georgia and Aaron Murray of Lansing, Michigan; nieces, LaToya Murry-Logan, Crystal Delaney, and Sharonica Thompson; nephews, Johnal Osborne, Octvais Murray, Cutless Murray, and Frank Anthony Black, uncle, Joe Louis Williams of Carrollton, Mississippi, and special friend Annette Morris.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae Littlejohn, and father, Dewitt Dunn, Sr.
