Passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Age 17. The beloved son of Pamela Carter and Dezi Lee Henderson Sr., was born on January 18, 1992, in Saginaw, MI. Dezi attended Saginaw High School. He loved writing rap songs, listening to music and playing video games.
Dezi is survived by his parents; godparents Ebonee Davis and Charlotte Hillard; grandparents Samuel and Arrie Lawson and great-grandmother Katie Lee Carter; three sisters: Venec-cia, Voneekia and Valeisha Henderson; six aunts: Alicia Lawson, Annie (James) Jones, Veronica (Gregory) Coleman, Sandra Bradley, Francesca Benton and Danielle Henderson; five uncles: Samuel Lawson Jr., David Henderson, Robert and Jessie Thomas and Dennis Hunter-Thomas. Dezi also leaves to cherish his memory many relatives and friends, including Breyonita Carter, Travion Lawson, Maurice Williams, Diallo McCaskle, Arthur Jackson, John Liddell, Marquise Hillard, Shedrick Johnson Jr., DaRonnie Dugan, Clifton Bradley III, Aurianna Henderson and Nathaniel and Jonathan Coleman.
Dezi was preceded in death by his grandmother Ida Jean Henderson; and grandfathers Delaware Stanton and Oscar Carter.
