Ms. Diane Broom peacefully made her transition to eternal rest on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at the age of 65 years. She was born August 1, 1949 in Bay City, Michigan to Martin and Phillis Crowl.
Diane was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Bay City, Michigan. She enjoyed being a yearly participant in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Diane loved crocheting and fishing at Ojibway Island which was her favorite spot. Her presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 24 years, Melvin Broom; one daughter, Stephanie Smith; one son, William (Roberta) Kobe; five stepchildren, Mitch (Casey) Broom, Lori (Rocky) Hall, Pat (Ginger) Grauherr, Geri Grauherr and Joanne (Phillip); grandchildren, Connor, Hannah, Nickolas, Brian, Theresa, Josie, Billy, Tiffiany, Amber, Dyamond, George IV, and Lexi; great-grandchildren, Finn and Stella; two brothers, Mike and Marty Crowl; many other relatives and friends.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Phillis Crowl, one stepdaughter, Donna Grauherr and grandson, Dustin Belcher.
The family wishes to express special thanks to everyone who offered prayers, condolences and kind words.
There will be no public viewing. Cremation has taken place.
