Ms. Dionne Latrice Swan passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Age 48 years. She was born October 4, 1972 in Saginaw, Michigan to Hoover and Lillie Swan.

Dionne was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan where she was raised. Her early education was completed in Saginaw Public Schools. Dionne was baptized at Tabernacle Baptist Church at an early age. She later affiliated with Word of Faith International Ministries, New Covenant Christian Center and World Overcomers Church in Saginaw. In Nashville, she attended Born Again Church and Faith is the Victory Church. Dionne was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Technology. She was employed at EDS as a Project Manager and was a Video Producer at Dice Communications. Dionne was an accomplished musician and was fluent on bass, lead guitar, keyboards, violin, and drums. She was a video storyteller, graphic artist, and an avid reader. Dionne was a strong, quick-witted, and very caring person. She was also very zealous, supportive, loyal, dedicated, and artistic. Dionne will be missed by family and friends who loved her dearly.

She leaves to cherish loving memories two sisters, Rita Swan and Kimberly Swan; three brothers, Milton Swan, Gregory Swan, Jeffrey (Rochelle) Swan; two nieces, Shontel Beasley, Takira Swan; seven nephews, Sterling Nelson, Kenneth, Kevin and Kerrington Swan, Gregory Minor, Kirk Baltimore, and Kameron Ralls; sister-in-law, Karen Swan; many relatives and friends including special friend, Scenacia “Na-Na” Jones, special aunts, Elvira Montgomery, Frances Harris, and neighbor, Mrs. Powell.

Dionne was preceded in death by her parents, Hoover and Lillie Swan, and brother, Kerry Swan.

The family would like to express special thanks to Mrs. Powell, Terry Bracken, Covenant HealthCare, Ford Hospital, Beaumont Hospital and SKLD Rehab/Nursing Livonia.
