Donahue M. Armstrong

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece and friend, Donahue May Helen Armstrong passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Heartland Health Care Center. Age 55 years. She was born on June 29, 2961 in Saginaw, Michigan to Sonja K. (Greer) Boone and Hugh Armstrong.

Donahue attended Saginaw Public Schools and completed her GED. She was a member of Freedom Full Gospel Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Eddie L. Bragg. Donahue was a loving, sweet and caring person who loved Jesus Christ and her family unconditionally. She enjoyed politics and reading. Donahue will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish loving memories, two daughters, Sonja D. Armstrong, Birmingham, Alabama and Christine Armstrong of Saginaw, Michigan; one son, Michael Armstrong, Detroit, Michigan; six grandchildren, Raven Harvey, Saginaw, Michigan, Tevin, Alexandria and Demetria Armstrong and Jaelin Dunn, all of Birmingham, Alabama, Antonia ford, Atlanta, Georgia; one great grandson, Mason Harvey, Saginaw, Michigan; one brother, Geoffrey A. Greer (Diondrea), Fort Worth, Texas; three nieces; two nephews; two aunts, Delores A. (James) Baber, Saginaw, Michigan and Aldene L. Greer, Chicago, Illinois; many cousins other relatives and friends including special friends, Brenda Gotchett, Brenda Greer and Mother Margaret Bragg,all of Saginaw, Michigan.
Donahue was preceded in death by her parents, Sonja K. Greer Boone and Hugh Armstrong; one brother, Gregory Greer; grandparents, Elder Allen C. Greer and Annie L. (Pratt) Greer.
