Donald Greig (Lansing)

Mr. Donald R. Greig passed away peacefully Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Aria Nursing & Rehab in Lansing, Michigan. Age 71 years. He was born December 12, 1951, in Flint, Michigan. The son of Donald and Mary (Rupp-Hoerner) Greig.

Donald resided in Lansing, but was formerly from Chesaning, Michigan. Donnie graduated from Chesaning Union Schools and worked at several factories over the years. He enjoyed fishing with his son, Mike, when he was a young boy and listening to all the great bands of the 60’s and 70’s. Donnie sometimes even looked like a band member himself with his hippie hair back in the day. He was artistic and liked to both draw and color.

He leaves to cherish his memory daughter, Jamie (Eric) Brabant of Oakley, Michigan; 1 granddaughter, Tiffany Kreger (and boyfriend, Mingo); 3 grandsons, Robert, Carter, and Collin; 1 great granddaughter, Olivia, all of Oakley & Chesaning, Michigan; siblings, Judy “Dee” (Chuck) White and their family all of Durand, Michigan; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friend Holly of Lansing, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael J. Greig, who passed on November 11, 2004; parents, Donald and Mary (Rupp-Hoerner) Greig; and nephew, Ronny White.

The family would like to express special thanks to Aria Nursing & Rehab and Paradise Funeral Chapel.

As Mr. Donald Greig wished, he wanted to be cremated with no funeral services. Any contributions in his memory can be made to the family.
