Our beloved son, father, brother and friend, Donovan Ray Houston, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 17, 2013 at the age of 24 years. He was born January 27, 1989 in Saginaw, Michigan.
Donovan attended Buena Vista High School and was currently enrolled in the Learn 2 Earn program through the Saginaw Intermediate School District. He enjoyed playing video games. Donovan had a friendly personality and always kept a smile on his face. He loved spending time with his daughter, family and friends. Donovans presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Donovans memory will forever be cherished by his adopted mother, Ora Houston; one daughter, Gabriella Houston; five sisters, Tanya (Darren) Smith, Tameisha and Mercedes Houston, Nakeda Stevenson, Johneisha Boyd, all of Saginaw, Michigan; four brothers, Willie C. (Elaine) Houston of Saginaw, Michigan, James Houston of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Donte Houston and Willie Boyd; god-mother, Jackie Sangster of Saginaw, Michigan; a special cousin, Valdis Houston; many other relatives and friends including a special friend and mentor, Thomas Haskell.
