Donterrion Lamar Rodgers "Taye"

Mr. Donterrion L. Rodgers passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 42 years. He was born on June 18, 1980, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Zina Smith and Richard Rodgers, Jr.

Donterrion was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School and was a member of Bethel AME Church. Donterrion always had various jobs and was willing to help anyone. He was always there for his family. Donterrion loved riding and listening to music. He touched many, many hearts and he will be loved and greatly missed through all the days that follow.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Shatayviannia Rodgers, and Destiny Barnes; two sons, Roniko Rodgers, and Joseph L. Thompson-Rodgers; parents, Zina Smith and Richard Rodgers Jr.; the father who raised him, Morie B. Smith “POPS”; one sister, Da’Jia L. Smith; three brothers, Deleon L. Rodgers, Demetric and Morie Broaden; two nieces, Myia Castro, and Chyna Nelson; one nephew, Davarion Rodgers; and one aunt, Detra L. Jones; two uncles, Earl Jones Jr., and Wayne Jones; many cousins and friends including a special friend, Nikita Thompson.

Donterrion was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl Jones Sr. and Gloria D. Jones.
