Our loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother passed away Saturday February 11, 2012 at age 64 in Georgia.
She was a retired registered nurse/dialysis technician from Saginaw General Hospital. Dorothy was born on June 8, 1947, in Hermandale, Missouri to Floyd and Giola Barnes. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving son, Johnny (Cathy) Carter Jr. of Conyers, Georgia; mother, Giola Williams; grandmother, Henrietta Caradine; five brothers, Floyd Barnes Jr. of Saginaw, Michigan, Kevin Barnes of Sioux City, Iowa, Kenneth (Jeanne) Barnes of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Andy (Catherine)Williams of Carrollton, Texas, Demetrious Williams of Saginaw, Michigan; seven sisters, Sharon Williams, Shanell Williams, Dallas Williams-Mckenzie, Shareese Williams-Gillerson, Ebony Williams, Deidra Williams and Denise Williams, all of Saginaw, Michigan; four beautiful grandchildren Janae Carter, Johnny Carter III, Camron Carter and Justin Carter, all of Conyers, Georgia; three uncles, Milton Bell Jr., Saginaw, Michigan, Louis Charles Barnes, Chicago, Illinois, Warren (Jessie) Barnes, St. Louis, Missouri; two aunts, Eula Bea Jones of Lufkin, Texas, Ozie Lee Smith of Blytheville, Arkansas; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Barnes Sr. and brother Larry Ansari Sr.
