Mrs. Dorothy Mae Corley, a caring wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend, left this world at the age of 68 years on July 7, 2022. She was born in Yazoo, Mississippi, on January 8, 1954 to the late Allean Junious and Ezekiel Little. Dorothy moved to Saginaw, Michigan, at a young age in 1961, where she attended Saginaw Public Schools. In her adult years she worked at Quality Dry Cleaners as a presser, where she later retired. Dorothy loved to cook and watch her favorite TV and game shows.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, MacArthur Corley; children: Archshawnda Tinsley, Kenyatta Thomas, Acy (Latrice) Thomas, Archie Thomas, Victoria (Christopher) Hayes, Cindy (Julius) Washington, and Serina (Rodney) Francis; grandchildren: Devon Bishop, Jermany Highshaw, Carmeshiana Thomas, Jasmine Highshaw, George Thomas, Antwanette Thomas, Antwonesha Thomas, Shawn Highshaw Jr., Dremonte Hopkins, Arianna Tinsley, DeAnthony Tinsley, Amyaha Tinsley, Ja’Von Thomas, A’Cyah Thomas, Brittane Washington, Cameron Washington, and Denetria Townsend; 22 great-grandchildren; siblings: Ezekiel (Rose) Little, Milton Grays, Carl Little, Sandra Kay Little, Regina Junious, Leonard Junious, Mary (Nate) Woods, Myra Little, Sandra Kay Little, Laverne (Danny) Shelby, Patricia (Jeffrey) Thomas, and Sarah Junious; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; Dorothy had two God-given sons, Terry Tribbett and Andre Hopkins; and special friend, Diane Porterfield.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother, Albert Junious.
